Instructor Bio
Dennis has been teaching basic and intermediate ballroom dancing for around 26 years in the Syracuse & Fulton area. He is known for his patience in teaching the basics of ballroom dances such as foxtrot, waltz, cha cha & East coast swing. Dennis likes to focus on the dances that students will use throughout their life.

(work with salsa rhythms while learning dance moves and body work)
Special guest instructor and professional dance instructor, Shelly Stubbs, will teach you Salsa. She is an amazing lady with an energy level and passion for Cuban style salsa that is very contagious!!!
Partners not required. We rotate partners in every class! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: “Salsa Dance is not the only thing taught to you, when I teach. You will learn to listen to the music and feel the music in your soul.” “Salsa Dancing is what I love, and you will see that when you attend one of my classes. I bring great energy to the dance floor and my energy is contagious. You will truly fill your mind, body, and soul when you dance Salsa.” “Salsa Dancing is my 'niche' in life that I was missing! When I started Salsa dancing a few years ago, I thought to myself, "Wow this is a Challenge and invigorating at the same time. Once I was introduced to this wonderful dance, that was it for me, I was hooked!! Since that time, I practiced at least 4x's a week, and attended all the dances and functions related to Salsa dancing. I have also made many wonderful friends in the Cuban community, where I have learned a lot about the culture and their dance. In the past year I have gone into elderly programs and danced Salsa for them and taught them some basics to salsa. We attended holiday events for handicapped students and worked with them in learning to dance Salsa. This group in particular was so happy that we were there and they loved Salsa. The smiles that were on their faces, made my whole week complete.”

Oswego Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser Dance
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY FUNDRAISER DANCE

Hosted by USA Dance Oswego Chapter 3057
Mike and Karen Wilcox, USA Dance Oswego Members, are participating in the annual Habitat for Humanity Dancing with the Community Stars event. They are trying to raise money for this special cause and could use your help and support. It will be a fun evening full of dancing, raffles and a special surprise.
A free dance lesson offered by Brian Kocher and Margie Miner will start the evening off at 7:00 p.m. followed by dancing 7:30-10:00.
There will be two 50/50 raffles and a special raffle for two tickets to the Friday night Dancing with the Community Stars show.
Admission: $15.00; ($10 USA Dance member)
