Dance: 8:00-10:00 p.m.
Location: McCrobie Bldg. Ballroom – 41 Lake Street – Oswego, N.Y.

You do not need to be a member of USA Dance to attend lessons or dances
You must be 16 years of age or older to attend lessons and dances

Instructor Bio
Dennis has been teaching basic and intermediate ballroom dancing for around 25 years in the Syracuse & Fulton area. He is known for his patience in teaching the basics of ballroom dances such as foxtrot, waltz, cha cha & East coast swing. Dennis likes to focus on the dances that students will use throughout their life.

April 24th Pivoting technique and paradas (all levels): In this class, we will teach a beautiful combination of simple steps that will allow you to practice pivoting technique, sandwiches and paradas (stops). 7:00-8:15 pm (followed by a Milonga (tango dance party).

About VATAN KOC AND GEORGIA AHRENS

Vatan Koc, a native of Turkey, has been teaching and performing since 2000 in the United States. Georgia Ahrens, his wife and (one of his first students), has been his dance partner and co-teacher since 2004. Their training, initially from Baila Tango - an international Argentine Tango organization, has been influenced by instruction from Caroline and Diego, Mariana Galassi, Guillarmina Quiroga, Mariela Franganillo, Ney Melo, Facundo and Kely, Pablo Pugliese, Pablo Veron, Cecilia Gonzalez, Bulent and Marika.
